The Heavenly Way: Living the Signs is the first book in The Heavenly Way Collection from Masjid of Life Press. It is designed as a guided encounter with the Qur’an in which the Qur’an speaks first and the reader is given room to reflect, contemplate, form intentions, and call upon their Lord.

This volume gathers selected signs from the Qur’an concerning guidance, virtue, family life, and the reward of those who follow the Heavenly Way. It begins from a simple but profound premise: Allah calls the passages of revelation āyāt — signs — and He also calls the wonders of creation signs. The signs within the Book of God help us recognize the signs within the creation of God. Together, they illuminate the Heavenly Way.

Rather than rushing through the text, Living the Signs invites the reader into a slower rhythm: read carefully, reflect honestly, record what you notice, form sincere intentions, and make duʿāʾ — calling upon your Lord. The goal is not merely to acquire information, but to allow revelation to shape character, relationships, decisions, and the direction of one’s life.

The Arabic Qur’anic text remains primary. Because every translation necessarily involves interpretation, the English renderings are presented as aids to reflection. The collection is not a rejection of the Prophetic tradition; the Sunnah and authentic hadith are honored. Its particular purpose is to restore sustained attention to the Qur’an and allow its signs to remain the central voice.

Book One opens with a reminder of God’s love for mankind and the gift of guidance, explores the virtues and responsibilities that mark the Heavenly Way, and considers the reward promised to those who follow it. Throughout the book, space for reflection turns reading into participation: What signs remained with you? What intentions have begun to form? What duʿāʾ arose as you read?

This is a book to return to — quietly, thoughtfully, and with intention. A path of reflection. A life of transformation.
